Anthony X. Hall

Anthony X. Hall believed all it took to achieve the American Dream was to get a good education, get a good-paying job with benefits and work hard. But the harder he followed the prescribed plan, the more he realized that those who reaped the spoils of the dream were more likely entrepreneurs than employees. 

 

He earned his degree and landed his first job, earning a salary of $40,000 year.  But his focus on keeping a job, he says, kept him just over broke. He decided that profits were better than wages and took the first steps toward financial freedom.  In 2001, he started a part-time home-based business and within five years generated $3.2M in revenue. He went on to master the skills needed to not only replace his day j.o.b. (Just Over Broke) but to double his salary as well, working a third of the time. 

 

A serial entrepreneur and motivational speaker, Hall is founder of The B.O.S.S. Society (Be Your Own Success Story), a training and development program focused on encouraging, supporting and celebrating ownership.  B.O.S.S. is a platform for him to preach the importance of creating multiple income streams to achieve financial independence.  He launched The B.O.S.S.
